Zero Voltage Switching Criteria of Triple Active Bridge Converter

چکیده

Triple active bridge (TAB) as an isolated multiport converter is a promising integrated energy system for smart grids or electric vehicles. This article aims to derive and analyze zero voltage switching (ZVS) regions of TAB, in which both losses are reduced, electromagnetic interference issues mitigated. In the proposed closed-form solution ZVS criteria, parameters such parasitic capacitance switches, leakage inductance transformer, frequency, port voltage, phase-shift inside between full-bridges all taken into account. The analysis shows how five degrees freedom can be used maintain operation various operating points. derived criteria experimentally verified using laboratory prototype. analytical powerful tool study optimize TAB converters.

Zero-Voltage and Zero-Current-Switching Full-Bridge PWM Converter Using Secondary Active Clamp

A new zero-voltage and zero-current-switching (ZVZCS) full-bridge (FB) pulsewidth modulation (PWM) converter is proposed to improve the performance of the previously presented ZVZCS FB PWM converters. By adding a secondary active clamp and controlling the clamp switch moderately, ZVS (for leading-leg switches) and ZCS (for lagging-leg switches) are achieved without adding any lossy components o...

A Zero-Voltage and Zero-Current Switching Full Bridge DC–DC Converter With Transformer Isolation

A new primary-side-assisted zero-voltage and zerocurrent switching full bridge dc–dc converter with transformer isolation is proposed. The proposed dc–dc converter uses only one auxiliary transformer and two diodes to obtain ZCS for the leading leg. It has a simple and robust structure, and load current control capability even in short circuit conditions. Possibility of magnetic saturation due ...

Novel Zero-Voltage and Zero-Current-Switching Full-Bridge PWM Converter Using a Simple Auxiliary Circuit

A novel zero-voltage and zero-current-switching (ZVZCS) full-bridge pulsewidth modulation converter is presented to simplify the circuits of the previously presented ZVSCS converters. A simple auxiliary circuit, which consists of one small capacitor and two small diodes, is added in the secondary to provides ZVZCS conditions to primary switches, as well as to clamp secondary rectifier voltage. ...

Zero Voltage Switching of Two-switch Flyback- Forward Converter

FORWARD CONVERTER Jhao-Cyuan Huang, Yong-seng Wong, Kuo-Bin Liu, NSRRC, Hsinchu, Taiwan Abstract The traditional pulse-width-modulated flyback converter power switch has serious electromagnetic interference (EMI) and lower conversion efficiencies problems due to the hard-switching operations. This paper produces a zero voltage switching of flyback-forward converter with an active-clamp circuit,...
